Bilge Level Monitor

About the Bilge

The bilge is an important location in the ship. It is where all the messy liquid components of maritime travel converge. Since these mixtures can be damaging, monitoring the bilge water is an important thing to do. At Kortz, we offer you state-of-the-art bilge level monitors. These pieces of equipment are revolutionary and currently set the pace for others in the world.

Our Bilge Level Monitor

This is a genius sensor system from TEK50 P/L. Among its foremost features is the fact that it does away with moving parts. This protects the equipment from corrosion or other chemical actions that can trigger a mechanical failure.

The water level detector works independently of the water it controls as there are no spark contacts of any sort. It is protected on all sides by encapsulation, and its critical components cannot be affected by the elements. The way the detector works is that it closely monitors the rising level of bilge water.

Once this has attained a preset maximum, the detector galvanises into action by activating a pump. To keep the water at an effectively controlled rate, the pump keeps working it back to an agreeable minimum. The detector functions well in the vessel bilges of all sizes and dimensions.

It will also interact freely with the acids and fluids found in the bottom level of the vessel. This interaction will not have negative effects on the long-term functionality of the instrument. Accordingly, the detector is immune to dirt or grease, so the worry about it being in top condition is removed.

Furthermore, actions such as the pacification, electrolysis, and oxidation of components do not occur with this detector. With precise installation, the detector is also a climate-friendly instrument. It can decipher, which is between diesel and water; aquatic environments are protected from the side effects of ocean traffic.

You must also note that the Bilge Level Detector is the first of its kind in the world of solid-state sensing. This puts it far ahead of any other kind of equipment when it comes to reliability and security in bilges. It can work consistently over long periods without breaking down or defaulting in its role.

This equipment is designed to handle 10 ampere DC Current using a remote system of relays or solenoids. It can also be configured to switch to a backup system when the primary pump has stalled at handling the liquid. The display panel is a LED type and provides information on the conditions in multiple installations.

In our trademark effort to reassure you of quality, we offer you a grand slam of a five year warranty period for the equipment procured.
